The Department of Home Affairs has made its motto to provide relieved and swift processing times for the Australian partner visa so that people can re-unite with their partners/spouses as early as possible. Dated 19th June 2019
With effect from 1st July 2019, around 500 immigrants in 72 in-demand occupations will be able to come to Australia per year through sponsorship by Australian employers with pathway to residency. This scheme will be under the Designated Area Migration Agreement for the city of Kalgoorlie Boulder which is located in Western Australia.
In another shocking development to the recent immigration changes, the South Australian government announced it will be closing the state nomination for General Skilled Migration beginning from June 24, 2019.
Around 72 occupations and professions that have been deemed as the skills shortages, have been compiled in the list. The Godfields DAMA has secured 72 occupations across various occupational groups and skilled fields ranging from executive level to managerial positions and from IT, Engineering, Medical and Accounting fields.
