General Skilled Migration

This visa is designed for only highly skilled individuals who wish to pursue their jobs in Australia on the basis of their skills. This visa does not require a sponsorship from an Australian Employer and you have to search job by your own in particular occupation, based on skills, upon your arrival in Australia. This program allows you to accompany with your immediate family members subject to completion of all formalities and meeting eligibility criteria.

Skilled Independent Subclass 189

This subclass 189 is a permanent skilled migration visa, which is an independent skilled migration program which does not require sponsorship from any state of regional areas including relatives residing in Australia.

The qualification criteria for this subclass 189 is to 

• Raise an expression of Interest,
• Reach the benchmark point test system – currently 65.
• Be aged less than 45 years
• Have a skill assessment from the occupation list for skilled Independent visas.
• Prove competent English or higher.
• Qualify and meet the health and character requirements.

This option does not require sponsorship by a relative or State/Territory Government.​​

Skilled Nominated Subclass 190

​This is skilled nominated permanent visa requiring nomination by an Australian State or Territory government. If you are eligible you will be invited by Department of Home Affairs to apply – once you will be having an invitation to apply for this, you will be given 60 days to respond back. 

Visa Criteria

The qualification criteria for this subclass 190 is to 

• Raise an expression of Interest,
• Should be nominated by the state government
• Reach the benchmark point test system – currently 65.
• Be aged less than 45 years
• Have a skill assessment from the state/territory occupation list
• Prove competent English or higher.
• Qualify and meet the health and character requirements.​

Skilled Regional Provisional Subclass 491

​This new provisional visa commenced from 16, November 2019 which allows you to live in specific areas of Australia, the duration is 5 years. Eligible visa holders will be able to apply Permanent residency after three years – You will need a sponsorship by an Australian State, government agency or should be sponsored by an eligible family member residing in designated regional area of Australia – Living in the specific area or by the state. 

Skilled Regional Subclass 887

​This subclass 887 visa is the permanent stage of the Skilled Regional Provisional visa holders. To qualify for a Skilled Regional visa, you must live in the required region or low populated areas of Australia for 2 years while working full time there for 12 months.
