Nowadays covid19 named coronavirus is hitting all the major countries and people are cautious about traveling, Despite of all these news, there are lots of rumors around the web about covid19 news so make sure you won’t rely on unauthentic news about the cure and safety precautions for coronavirus while doing all this also, check latest updates by WHO ( World health organization )  about this disease, foremost here’s the updated checklist below for visas holder who are traveling.

International Travellers:

Foreign nationality (Excluding Permanent resident of Australia) are informed not to travel Australia at this instance if you are:

  • You visited mainland china since 1 Feb 2020 and you don’t hold Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent residency, family member (Spouse, de facto partner, minor dependent or legal guardian).
  • If you have been to Iran since 1 March 2020 and you don’t hold Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent residency, family member (Spouse, de facto partner, minor dependent or legal guardian).
  • You have visited republic of Korea since 5 March 2020 and you don’t hold Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent residency, family member (Spouse, de facto partner, minor dependent or legal guardian).
  • You have visited Italy on or before 11 March 2020 and you don’t hold Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent residency, family member (Spouse, de facto partner, minor dependent or legal guardian).
  • If you try to travel to Australia, your airlines will not allow you to board the flight or if you arrive Australian immigration will cancel your visa

 

Temporary Visa Holders outside Australia:
  • Temporary visa holders who aren’t eligible to welcome into Australia and are not exempt under one of the above categories will have their visa considered for cancellation if they attempt to travel to Australia.
  • If you think your visa may have been canceled under enhanced border control measures, please email visa.cancellations@homeaffairs.gov.au with your details including full name, date of birth and passport number.
