Professional Year:
A Professional Year Program is a structured professional development program combining formal learning and workplace experience for international students who are IT, Accounting & Engineering graduates.
Professional Year Programs run for 12 months incorporating 32 weeks in-class theory & 12 weeks internship.
COURSE ELIGIBILITY:
- Completed a Bachelor degree in Australia or higher, in Accounting, IT and Engineering.
- Hold or applied for a Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) with at least 12 months validity.
- Valid skills assessment from a relevant professional association.
- English language proficiency.
BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAM:
- Enhance professional skills and expand employment opportunities
- Learn the fundamental of Australian work practices, business communications and the professional code of conduct and ethics.
- The successful completion of the PYP allows participants to get an additional 5 points towards Permanent Residency in Australia under the general skilled migration scheme.
